Commercialization subsidies for three outstanding startups and the benefits of moving into Seoul Fintech Lab

[Herold Economy = Reporter Lee Tae-hyung] Shinhan Card announced on the 18th that it selected three excellent startups and held an award ceremony at the 2022 Pinovation Challenge Seoul x Shinhan Card, which was conducted with the Seoul Metropolitan Government to discover and foster fintech innovative startups.
At the awards ceremony held at the FKI Hall in Yeouido, Seoul on the 17th, "Step Pay," a subscription payment solution startup, won the Seoul Mayor's Award, "Finsel," an art licensing platform, won the Shinhan Card Award, and "ATR," a carbon emission data solution company, won the Pinovation Award.
"Step Pay" is promoting the establishment of a channel for the convenience of payment for small business owners by using a mobile POS solution with Shinhan Card, and has also attracted 2.3 billion won in investment from venture capital and global investment companies.
Pinzle is collaborating on the content provision of the platform My Art Flex of Shinhan Card's art in-house venture Art Plus and is pushing to provide content for overseas artist series.
"ATR" is preparing a service that visualizes and provides carbon emissions using Shinhan Card's traffic payment data.
Winners will be awarded 20 million won, 10 million won and 5 million won, respectively, and will be eligible to move into Seoul Fintech Lab, the largest fintech incubator in Korea.
A Shinhan Card official said, "The customized startup collaboration program for financial innovation with the Seoul Metropolitan Government has been successfully completed," adding, "We will strive to expand the innovation growth ecosystem as a strong business partner so that all startups participating in the Pinovation Challenge can leap higher in line with Shinhan Financial Group's ESG strategy."
Meanwhile, the "Finnovation Challenge" is a project in which the Seoul Metropolitan Government and Shinhan Card, which are focusing on fostering the fintech industry, jointly discover and foster fintech startups that can be applied to business tasks and new businesses of financial companies.
Seo Woo and Shinhan Card selected seven companies in July by evaluating ▷ commercialization potential ▷ growth potential ▷ marketability ▷ creativity ▷ fintech industry (expected) contribution and have conducted collaboration, mentoring, and investment attraction support with Shinhan Card.
